Checked before scheduling
PostQueen refuses a post that breaks these rules and shows the message in the composer:
Each instance sets its own posting rate and image rules, and PostQueen does not check them first. Lemmy’s default is 6 posts in 10 minutes from one address, and it is shared by everyone who posts to that instance through PostQueen.
Connect Lemmy
There is nothing to create on Lemmy first: PostQueen signs in with the account you use there. An account with two-factor authentication turned on cannot connect.1
Open Add Channel
Open Channels and choose Add Channel, then Lemmy and Enter details.

Enter your instance and login
Type your instance address in Service (
https://lemmy.world is filled in), your username on that instance in Identifier and your Lemmy password in Password. Choose Connect.3
Check that it connected
The channel appears in the Channels list with your Lemmy avatar and name.
Post settings
Choose Add Community, search for a community under Search Community and pick it. Then give that community a Title, 3 to 200 characters, and an optional URL to share a link. Add as many communities as you like: each one gets its own submission, with its own title and link and the same body. The first file you attach becomes the cover image. The field names and values for the API are on Lemmy posting settings.Comments and threads
Add comment adds follow-ups. Each one is posted as a top-level comment under the submission in every community the post went to, after its own delay. Comments are text only and are not nested under each other.Good to know
- PostQueen signs in to your instance each time it posts. If you change your Lemmy password, publishing stops until you enter the new one with Update Credentials under Access on the channel’s page.
- Only instances reachable on the public internet can be connected. An address on a private or local network is refused.
- The link on a published post opens it on your instance.
- Invite by link does not offer Lemmy, because the password is typed into PostQueen. Connect it with Connect myself.
- During the free trial, a Lemmy account that another PostQueen workspace already connected is refused until you end the trial.

The instance refused the username or the password, or the account has two-factor authentication on. Check both on the instance’s own sign-in page, turn two-factor authentication off if you use it, and connect again.
