Connect Mastodon
Mastodon is listed in Add Channel, but it cannot be connected on PostQueen yet. It will connect accounts on one Mastodon server: accounts on other servers cannot be connected.
Post settings
Mastodon posts have no settings of their own in the composer: the text, the media and each file’s alt text are all a post carries. The API fields are on Mastodon posting settings.Good to know
- Continue thread adds parts to the post. Each part is posted as a reply to the part before, can carry its own media and has its own delay.
- PostQueen waits until your server has processed a video before it creates the post. Media in later thread parts is posted without that wait, so a part with a large video can fail.
- The number of files per post is not checked first: your server refuses a post that carries more than it allows.
- The first post carries a key that stops Mastodon from publishing it twice when the request is retried.
