Every post to Lemmy carries a settings object with "__type": "lemmy" and the communities to post in. Read the live schema for your channel with Get a channel’s settings. A Lemmy channel connects with your instance, username and password, which only the app’s connect form takes. Connect it in the app first, then post to it here.

Fields

Each community gets its own submission, with its own title and link and the same body from value[0].content, sent as plain text. The first file of the first entry becomes the cover image of every submission.

Find a community id

The subreddits tool searches the channel’s instance. Call it through trigger a provider tool:
It answers { "output": [{ "id": 1234, "name": "Linux", "title": "Linux" }] }. Send id as a string in value.id, and name in value.subreddit.

Follow-up comments

Each extra entry in value is posted as a top-level comment under the submission in every community, after its delay in minutes. Comments are text only.

What PostQueen checks

A post that breaks one of these rules is refused with 400 before it is scheduled: A settings field that is missing or wrong is refused first, with the field’s path in each message:
The other rules come back with the channel’s name:
Each instance sets its own posting rate, and PostQueen does not check it first. Lemmy’s default is 6 posts in 10 minutes from one address.

Examples

Send each body to create a post. Replace YOUR_CHANNEL_ID with the channel’s id from list channels, each community id and name with the values the subreddits tool returns, and each media id and path with the values upload a file returns.
