Claude is Anthropic’s AI assistant on the web, in the desktop app and in the iOS and Android apps. Add PostQueen as a custom connector and Claude can list your channels, write and schedule posts, add a photo from your device, and tell you how your published posts did.

Before you start

  • Plans: Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.
  • Platforms: add the connector on the web or in Claude Desktop (macOS, Windows). It then works in the iOS and Android apps too; adding one from mobile is in beta.
  • A PostQueen API key. A workspace admin copies it, or the ready-made address, from Connections.
Where the API key is: in the app, open Connections > API Keys. Only a workspace Admin or Super Admin can reveal or rotate it; other members see it masked. A workspace has one key, and each agent card on Connections shows your MCP address with the key already filled in.

Copy your MCP address

In PostQueen, open Connections and copy the address from the Claude card, or build it from your key:

Add a custom connector

In Claude, open Customize > Connectors, then + > Add custom connector.

Paste the address

Name it PostQueen and paste the address as the URL, with no slash at the end. Leave Advanced settings empty and click Add.

Switch it on in a chat

In a chat, open + (or type /), choose Connectors and switch PostQueen on.
On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector first under Organization settings > Connectors > Add > Custom > Web. Members then connect it from Customize > Connectors.

Check that it works

Ask Claude: “List my PostQueen channels.” Claude calls PostQueen and answers with the channels you connected. The PostQueen tools show up in the chat as mcp__PostQueen__... calls.

Good to know

  • Anthropic advises against secrets in a URL. The key address works and is tested, but it carries your key, so keep it private. The sign-in under Other ways to connect avoids a key in the URL; PostQueen has not tested it yet. If the address leaks, a workspace admin rotates the key under Connections > API Keys.
  • Claude cannot add PostQueen for you. Asked in a chat, it says it cannot add servers itself. Add the connector in Connectors.
  • PostQueen is not in Anthropic’s connector directory, so searching Connectors does not find it. Add it as a custom connector.
  • Upload from your device. In Claude, PostQueen’s upload widget opens an Upload Media panel where you add a photo or video from your device. It works on the web, in Claude Desktop, in Cowork and in the mobile apps.
  • Claude Desktop’s config file starts only local servers. Use the Connectors screen for PostQueen.
  • Ask for drafts when you want to check first. A draft waits on your PostQueen calendar, and nothing publishes until you schedule it.
  • What it cannot do over MCP: delete a post, or change a post’s text or time. Do that on the calendar in the app. The MCP tools lists what it can do.

Other ways to connect

The key address has 21 tools. The sign-in address has 20, all but ask_postqueen.
With the sign-in, no key is copied or stored in Claude. Only a workspace admin can approve it.

Add the sign-in address

In Customize > Connectors, choose + > Add custom connector, name it PostQueen and paste https://api.postqueen.ai/mcp-oauth-dynamic as the URL, with no slash at the end. Leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty, so Claude registers itself, and click Add.

Sign in and approve

Click Connect, sign in to PostQueen and approve access.

Switch it on in a chat

Open + (or type /), choose Connectors and switch PostQueen on.
The access does not expire on its own. Revoke it in PostQueen under Connections > Approved Apps.

Is it the same as Claude Code or Claude Cowork?

No. Anthropic ships three products that can use PostQueen, and two of them share this connector: A connector you add in Claude also shows up in Claude Code when you log in to Claude Code with a claude.ai subscription.
