Find a free slot
The slots come from the channel’s posting times. Starting today, PostQueen takes the first of those times that is still ahead and at which no post of your workspace is set, on any channel. A post of another channel at that exact minute makes the slot taken, and so does a draft, a published post or a failed one. The search goes up to a year ahead. The answer has no time zone suffix but is UTC. You can send it back as a post’s date as it is: PostQueen reads a date without a zone as UTC. An id that is not an active channel of your workspace does not fail: an unknown, disabled or deleted channel falls back to the default posting times, 02:00, 06:40 and 11:40 UTC.
