Each plan on PostQueen Cloud has a fixed cap on connected channels (a “channel” is one connected social account, e.g. one Twitter user, one Discord server). When you hit the cap, adding a new channel returns:
You have reached the maximum number of channels

How to free a slot

  1. Find the channel in the left sidebar, where all your channels live.
  2. Open the three dots menu next to it.
  3. Pick Disable Channel and confirm.
That frees the slot immediately, keeps the connection and leaves your posts alone. The same menu turns it back on when you want the account again.
Disable, not Delete. Deleting refuses while posts still reference the channel, and it is not what you want here anyway: disabling already frees the slot without losing anything. Connect a channel covers the difference.

How to raise the cap

Upgrade your plan on the Billing page. Each tier raises the channel limit; the exact numbers are visible on the plan comparison.

Self-host

Self-hosted PostQueen has no channel cap while billing is off, which is the normal state: billing only turns on when both STRIPE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY and STRIPE_SECRET_KEY are set. With it off, your account reports itself as ULTIMATE and no quota is evaluated, so you can connect as many channels as the providers allow per OAuth app. Set both Stripe keys and the tiers above apply to your install too. Plans and limits has the full rule.
