# Post actions and stats

> Preview, duplicate, statistics, delete, and the share link on a calendar card

Hover the coloured strip on a calendar card and the tag names give way to a row of icons. Click the body of the card to open the composer on that post.

| Icon                | What it does                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Preview Post**    | Opens a read-only page for the post in a new tab, showing the channel, the content and the media. That page needs no login, and a **Share with a client** button copies a clean link with no query string on the end. Comments on it are for signed-in people only. |
| **Duplicate Post**  | Opens the editor with a copy of the content, media and platform settings, dated at the next free slot she finds for you.                                                                                                                                            |
| **Post Statistics** | Opens the numbers for that one post: analytics over 7, 30 or 90 days, plus a short-link table with the clicks each link earned.                                                                                                                                     |
| **Delete Post**     | Asks *Are you sure you want to delete post?* first, then removes that post and every part of its thread.                                                                                                                                                            |

  The chart icon is only there when there is something to chart. A post that has not gone out yet does not show it, and on X it is hidden as well when the install has X analytics turned off. When she has the post but not the link back to the published version, the same icon opens **Connect Post** instead, where you pick the matching post from the platform, and she goes straight to the statistics once you save.

  A failed post is hard to miss: the whole card gets a red outline and a red `!` badge in the corner. Hover that badge to read the error the platform sent back.

  Super admins get one extra icon on the strip, which opens a small dialog with two buttons: **Copy post id** and **Copy Debug JSON**.

There is no in-app approval queue. A scheduled post goes out on time. Sharing a preview link with a client is the review path: [Teams](/using/teams-and-collaboration).
